Reflections of a Godly Woman
Dr. Eva Francis Nichols was born on May 14, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas to Delmar C. Woolery and Doris Woolery and later adopted by Walter P. Hall and Loma F. Hall.
Dr . Eva graduated from Lafayette High School in 1972 and was active in Drama, she was the lead singer in the choir and played the position of catcher on the softball team during their championship victory.
Dr. Eva accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and began her Christian walk which lasted more than fifty years. She loved God, Faith Bible College, and her family. Dr. Eva vowed to live by the Word of God, work in the Word of God, and minister by the Word of God. Dr. Eva was a Youth Counselor for KC Youth For Christ, USA.
Dr. Eva is the co-founder of Faith Bible College, Dean of Academics, and the founder of The Association of Scriptural Psychology Professionals, also the Co-founder and Co-Pastor of Ebony and Ivory Ministries; a multicultural church where Dr. Eva was the President of the Women’s groups, the Music Coordinator and the Spiritual Counselor. Among her many accolades, Dr. Eva has seven doctorate degrees; (1) from Midwestern Theological Seminary, (1) from Visions International University, (1) from Kingsway Christian College, Des Moines, Iowa, (1) Kingsway Christian College and Theological Seminary, Independence, Missouri; and (3) from Faith Bible College, Independence, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Eva is MRSS certified nationwide.
Counselor for Alcohol and Drug Abuse/Addiction and Principal of the Faith Bible College High School Program.
In 1975 Dr. Eva married the love of her life, Dr. Zalmer Nichols, and was blessed with two children: son Zalmer and daughter Michelle Lucille, the Lord also blessed Dr. Eva with a wonderful grandson whom she cherished, Josiah Nichols.
Eva and Dr. Nick renewed their vows with a full wedding after 40 years of marriage. Dr. Eva loved chocolate and she loved Roses. Dr. Nick and Michelle made sure throughout her life she had plenty of both. As it says in the song “Give me my flowers while I yet live so that I can see the beauty that they bring.”
Dr. Eva loved music and sang many solos. Her favorite song was “Blood Bought Church The Redeemed.” Dr. Eva was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Dr. Eva made her glorious transition on January 3, 2019, at Center Point Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her biological parents and her adoptive parents preceded her in death.
